The Design Matters 22 Committee is a group of nine talented designers from some of the best and most hip companies around the world.
On January 28, 2022 we met for an online workshop about the topics, trends and inspiration we wanted to bring into Design Matters 22.
The topics and questions we discussed include:
- The most interesting and hot topics in design in 2022
- How the role of the designer is changing
- The most urgent issues that design can help to solve
- The topics suggested by the Design Matters community
Why Do We Do This?
We believe that the Committee members add a global and diverse perspective to Design Matters. Spotting and understanding trends and needs allows us to engage the community as well as create a more relevant and engaging conference.
Who Is Part of the Committee?
Jordan Craig, Chad Wright, Karoline Kirchhübel Andersen, Andrew Schmidt, Vitaly Friedman, Cameron Campbell, Hazel Jennings, Kjegwan Leihitu, Yesenia Perez-Cruz.
Most of the committee members have been speakers at previous Design Matters conferences. The workshop was facilitated by Ross Chapman on the virtual collaboration platform Butter.
