The Power of Storyboarding
As designers and digital creatives, being able to communicate your ideas effectively is critical. This is especially important in early phases of ideation and product-development, when you need to align with team-members and stakeholders around what to build, and how to best craft valuable, engaging, and delightful experiences for your end-users and customers.
This is where storyboarding comes in! Storyboarding is a form of visual storytelling with roots in the world of animation and film-making. It’s a powerful tool for helping your ideas and visions come to life.
This online workshop is all about storyboarding — the what, why, how, and when. Traditionally, storyboarding happens in person, with paper and pen, but this workshop has been adapted to work for remote teams, working with digital white-boarding tools.
Who is this for?
This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn how to communicate ideas in a more powerful, engaging, empathetic, and memorable way.
No need to have any drawing skills – the session is just as suited to those entirely new to drawing as to established artists.
What will you get?
You’ll learn all about storyboards and create a storyboard (or two!) yourself. You’ll even get a template for a storyboarding workshop in Miro that you can bring back to your own team(s)!
